How it works.
Community Choice is a fresh approach to giving back to the community. It is designed to put the power of giving in the hands of our community.
- Each month, three organisations will be selected to participate
- Community members will vote in-store for their preferred group
- At month’s end, each organisation will receive support based on the votes:
🥇 1st Place – $1,000
🥈 2nd Place – $700
🥉 3rd Place – $300
Community Choice is more than just funding — it’s about community empowerment, transparency, and deepening connections between local groups and the people they serve.
Your organisation will gain visibility, grow community support, and be part of a collective effort in Making living in Barossa better.
Who can apply?
Community Choice is designed for smaller groups, clubs, or fundraising initiatives that don’t have broad reach or large-scale impact but make a meaningful difference in our community.
If you represent a registered charity, club, or organisation that is non-for-profit and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the Barossa Valley, you are eligible to apply for Community Choice.
To qualify, your organisation MUST hold an active Barossa Co-op membership.
