Eligibility Criteria.

  1. Applicants must represent a local, registered charity, club or organisation (“Local Community Group”) to qualify for consideration for Community Choice.
  2. Community Choice does not support individuals and their personal fundraising efforts.
  3. The Local Community Group must hold an active Barossa Co-op membership in the name of the organisation to be considered for Community Choice. Barossa Co-op will consider the Local Community Group’s spend with Barossa Co-op businesses (Barossa Fresh, Fresh Cafe, Barossa Betta, Barossa Lifestyle, Barossa Mitre 10, Barossa Toyworld, Barossa Workwear, Intersport Barossa and The Design Studio) when assessing the application.
  4. The Local Community Group must be geographically located within the Barossa and Light regional areas.
  5. Application is only open to Local Community Groups that are dedicated to making a difference and enhancing the quality of life within our Local Areas (i.e. Barossa and Light regional areas).
  6. Local teams or individual participants of large-scale charity fundraising events are NOT considered “Local Community Groups” and therefore are NOT eligible to apply.
  7. Companies, businesses or groups that are intended to generate a profit are NOT eligible to apply.
  8. Each Local Community Group may only participate in Community Choice once in any twelve (12) month period. A “twelve (12) month period” refers to the time since the Local Community Group last participated in Community Choice.
  9. Barossa Co-op Sponsorship recipients, currently receiving Platinum, Gold and Silver sponsorship are not eligible to apply.
