John Curnow is a graduate of Macquarie University’s School of Logistics management and Bond University Beverage Industry Development and Strategy Programme, and has held a number of senior executive positions in various companies, including Olympus Industries in the USA as Executive Vice President Marketing, and with Coca-Cola Amatil as Managing Director of their Hungarian and New Zealand Operations.
He has served on company boards in various countries including, Austria, Hungary, New Zealand and Australia, and health boards, over the past 20 years, including Barossa GP Network, CNSA Medicare Local and more recently CSA Primary Network where with each involvement he has served as Finance Director.
He has had extensive interests in the wine industry, including founding partner in 1847 Wines and subsequently CEO of the 1847/Yaldara group. He was instrumental in the establishment of Barossa Grape and Wine, being a member of the Steering Committee before its establishment and then as a Foundation Board Member .
He has consulted and lectured on Marketing and Strategic Leadership in many locations and forums, some of which include The Hungarian Economic University, European Business School, and The Australian GP Network Forum along with many Management and Leadership presentations for various organisations .
He has completed the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Directors Training Programme.
