In 1971, Kevin migrated from New Zealand to Australia and joined Noske Flour Mills, which later merged with similar companies to form the Milling Industries Group. Milling industries Group had extensive interest in flour milling and stock feed manufacturing in South Australia and Victoria and ran large bakeries in rural South Australia, Adelaide and the Northern Territory.
With a Bachelor of Business degree as well as being a member of the CPA, Kevin held several senior positions at Milling Industries, including Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer, Group Bakery Manager and Group Assistant General Manager. In 1986, Kevin joined Yalumba and held various positions including General Manager, Finance and Administration, Company Secretary and later Group Commercial Director before retiring in 2010.
After retirement, Kevin has held other board positions including chairman of Lenswood Coop, Chairman of the Riverland Wine Growers Coop – CCW.
Currently, Kevin is on the board of Barossa Village and consultant to Whistler Wines. He has been on the Barossa Co-op board since 2016.
