With degrees in Law and Commerce, Rebecca’s career has been built on applying her legal and commercial skill set to actively engage in the commercial development of businesses whilst managing risk and compliance complexities.
Having worked in private legal practice for several years before stepping into her current role of General Counsel with the Bickford’s Group, Rebecca has gained valuable experience in managing the Legal and Human Resources aspects of the Bickford’s Group business within a fast moving consumable goods and retail environment.
Rebecca has an interest in co-operatives and mutuals, with a firm belief that they are an exceptional model able to enhance community and member values in a sustainable and democratic manner.
Rebecca was appointed to the role of Director of The Barossa Co-op in March 2012, followed by her appointment to Deputy Chair in April 2018. After being appointed as Chair of The Barossa Co-op in August 2018, where she maintained her role for 8 years, Rebecca is now Deputy Chair of the Board.
