As a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors with over 35 years’ experience in financial management and a proven track record in resource and change management, Simon brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Barossa Co-op.
With 16 years experience working in the non-for profit sector and community based organisations, Simon has executive and board level experience in implementing corporate governance frameworks encompassing all aspects of business.
Simon has spent over 13 years working in the Barossa region establishing partnerships across a broad range of community services, and has a great passion for a strong regional economy that invests in people and infrastructure to meet the needs of the community.
Having recently spent the last 13 years as CEO of Barossa Village, a not-for-profit aged care, retirement living, allied health and disability facility, Simon’s leadership and vision will support Barossa Co-op’s mission in making living in Barossa better.
Simon began his current role as Chair of the Barossa Co-op Board in April 2024.
